1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms govern your use of MediKarya, operated by MEDIKARYA TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U58202HR2026PTC146060; registered office: V-214, Second Floor, Gandhi Colony, Faridabad, Haryana 121001, India). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Educational Use Only

MediKarya is designed solely to facilitate medical education through simulation. Always consult standard medical literature and guidelines for real-world clinical decision-making.

3. User Accounts & Conduct

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old. The platform is designed for medical students and healthcare professionals.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Prohibited Actions: Do not misuse the service, share accounts where prohibited, attempt unauthorised access, reverse engineer the platform or AI integrations, or use the service unlawfully.

4. For Case Writers & Contributors

• No PHI: Contributions must NOT contain any Protected Health Information. All cases must be fully anonymized or fictional.
• License Grant: By submitting a case, you grant MediKarya a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the content.
• Attribution: We will provide appropriate attribution to accepted case authors within the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

The MediKarya platform is the proprietary property of MediKarya and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6. Paid plans, billing and cancellation

Plan features, prices, billing periods, renewals, cancellation, and refund terms are shown at checkout and in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Paid subscriptions renew as disclosed at checkout until cancelled. Cancel through Plan & billing; your access continues until the end of the paid period. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under consumer law.

7. Service availability and AI output

We may update or temporarily suspend features to maintain or improve the service. AI-generated conversations, feedback, and questions may be incomplete or inaccurate. The service is an educational simulation only, does not provide medical advice, and must never be used to diagnose or treat a real person or make real clinical decisions. Do not submit identifiable patient information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MediKarya is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms when our service or legal requirements change. We will post the new version here, update the date, and give notice of material changes through the service or by email where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively and do not reduce mandatory rights under law.
